Directive 2014/68 EU of the European Parliament and of the Council obliges us: “Pressure equipment must be designed, constructed and tested, and where necessary, equipped and built in such a way that guarantees its security, from the moment when it is delivered for use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or in meaningful foreseeable circumstances.”

The Rulebook on the examination and testing of pressure equipment determines the types, procedures and deadlines for checkups and testing of pressure equipment, assemblies and simple pressure vessels in handing over to the utilization. The Rulebook defines the responsibilities of users and authority for periodic checks in the framework of ensuring the safety of use of pressure equipment.
