The Welding institute is authorized by Slovenian accreditation (SA), as well as by ministry of labor for doing periodical review and testing of welding apparatus.

Periodic inspection and testing of welding apparatus
Welding apparatus is certified in accordance to EN 60974-1: Arc welding equipment – Part 1: Power sources for welding.
- The general visual inspection,
- Insulation resistance,
- The voltage drop on the grounded round,
- Protection against direct contact
- Testing of welding equipment under load-measuring dynamic characteristic.
For each tested apparatus a report is issued. After that, the certificate of compliance is issued, as well as a label for equipment about the performed testing.
